DMX-4 – Optical & Closed-Cycle Cryostats by Advanced Research Systems, Inc.

Overview

The DMX-4 cryostat is a closed-cycle optical system designed for large-sample spectroscopy and other optical measurements. Constructed for high-versatility laboratory applications, it provides a spacious sample chamber and accommodates large optical windows suitable for UV, VIS, and IR spectral ranges. The unit is optimized for experiments requiring large samples, such as 2-inch wafers or diamond anvil cells, and supports stable cryogenic operation down to approximately 4.5 K using ARS’s Solvay-style cryocooler technology with vacuum-insulated design and an actively cooled radiation shield for efficient thermal performance.
