Frequently asked questions

About QHUB

What is QHUB (Quantum Supply Chain Hub)?

QHUB is a curated B2B marketplace for quantum hardware. It lists over 600 components from more than 100 manufacturers, covering cryogenics, photonics, RF & microwave, control electronics, vacuum systems, quantum processors (QPUs), quantum key distribution (QKD) and quantum sensors. Buyers can search and filter by technical specification, compare products side by side and send requests for quote (RFQs) to vendors.

Who is QHUB for?

QHUB is built for anyone procuring quantum hardware: university and national labs, quantum computing and sensing startups, system integrators, and enterprise procurement teams. It is also for vendors who want their products discovered by qualified quantum buyers.

How is QHUB different from searching manufacturer websites?

Manufacturer sites present specs in different formats and units, which makes comparison slow. QHUB normalizes specifications per product type (for example base temperature and cooling power for dilution refrigerators, or detection efficiency and dark count rate for single-photon detectors), so you can filter and compare products from different vendors in one place.

Finding quantum hardware

What types of quantum hardware can I find on QHUB?

Categories include dilution refrigerators and mK cryostats, optical cryostats, cryogenic amplifiers and cryogenic cabling; SPAD modules and single-photon detectors, beam splitters and phase shifters; RF signal generators, RF amplifiers, mixers and interconnects; arbitrary waveform generators, quantum control systems and time taggers; vacuum pumps, chambers and UHV valves; QPUs; QKD systems and modules; and quantum sensors such as atomic clocks, magnetometers and gravity and inertial sensors.

Where can I compare and buy a dilution refrigerator?

The QHUB mK cryostats and dilution refrigerators category lists systems from manufacturers including Bluefors, Oxford Instruments Nanoscience, Leiden Cryogenics, ICEoxford, Zero Point Cryogenics and others. You can compare base temperature, cooling power at 100 mK, experimental space and cooldown time, then request a quote directly from the vendor.

Where can I compare single-photon detectors (SPADs)?

The QHUB SPAD modules category lists single-photon avalanche diode modules and detectors from vendors such as ID Quantique, Hamamatsu, AUREA, Qubitrium and others. Specifications like detection efficiency, dark count rate, timing jitter and wavelength range can be filtered and compared side by side.

Where can I find quantum control electronics and AWGs?

QHUB lists quantum control systems and arbitrary waveform generators from vendors including Zurich Instruments, Quantum Machines, Qblox, Keysight Technologies and Tektronix, along with time taggers from vendors such as Swabian Instruments, PicoQuant and qutools.

Are prices listed on QHUB?

Some products show a reference price, but most quantum hardware is configured to order and priced on request. QHUB handles this through structured requests for quote (RFQs) sent directly to the vendor.

Requesting quotes

How does the RFQ process work on QHUB?

Create a free buyer account, open any product and click "Request Quote", or submit a general RFQ describing what you need. Your request goes to the relevant vendor, and you can track the status of all your requests from your buyer dashboard.

What is the AI RFQ Matcher?

The AI RFQ Matcher lets you paste an existing RFQ or requirements document. It extracts the technical requirements and matches them against the QHUB catalog to suggest suitable products. Access is available on request from the marketplace header.

Can I compare products side by side?

Yes. Select up to three products in the marketplace and open the comparison view to see their specifications in a single table.

For vendors

How do I list my quantum products on QHUB?

Register as a vendor and complete your company profile. After our team verifies your company, you can upload products with specifications, images and datasheets, receive RFQs from buyers and respond from your vendor dashboard.

What does "Verified vendor" mean?

Verified vendors have had their company credentials reviewed by the QHUB team. The badge appears on their vendor profile and product listings.
