CS210-GMX-20 – Optical & Closed-Cycle Cryostats by Advanced Research Systems, Inc.

Overview

The CS210F-GMX-20 combines the DE-210 cryocooler with ARS’s X-20 ultra-low vibration interface, enabling high cooling power with extremely low vibration levels of around 3–5 nm. It employs a helium exchange gas to thermally isolate the sample from the cryocooler’s cold tip, minimizing transmitted vibration. This design is ideal for Mössbauer spectroscopy and vibration-sensitive optical experiments, offering a downward-oriented cold tip for effective convective cooling within the exchange gas medium.
