Overview

ProteoxS is a compact, Cryofree® dilution refrigerator developed by Oxford Instruments Nanoscience. It is designed for fast turnaround experiments reaching base temperatures as low as 10 mK. The system provides four access ports for experimental services and central line-of-sight optical access to the field center, supporting electron transport and quantum device studies with integrated low-noise amplifiers and filters. It includes a cross-braced stiffened frame to minimize vibration transmission and uses Oxford’s patented bottom loader and gas-gap heat switch technologies to achieve rapid cool-down while maintaining compatibility with superconducting magnets.
