Overview
The Keysight M8199B Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) is a high-performance arbitrary signal source designed for next-generation digital and optical communications testing. It supports up to 160 GBaud (and 224 GBaud with a frequency domain interleaver) and delivers up to 8 synchronized channels at a sample rate of 256 GSa/s. The instrument features a nominal analog bandwidth exceeding 80 GHz (up to 120 GHz with optional hardware) and integrated frequency/phase response calibration for clean output signals, simplifying advanced test setups for R&D engineers.
